Chad Anderson brings over 15 years of experience as a guitarist, recording engineer, and touring musician to his role as Stage Manager for The Meat and Metal Guild. Currently performing with metal bands Judicator and Hisingen, and formerly with Helion Prime and Disforia, Chad has released numerous albums and performed extensively across the United States, Canada, and Europe. His work spans both sides of the studio glass—from performing on stage to recording and producing bands in his home studio.

Chad’s technical expertise extends well beyond audio engineering. For over 11 years, he has worked as a systems administrator for a Salt Lake City-based technology company, managing critical infrastructure and complex technical systems. This unique combination of hands-on music industry experience and enterprise-level technical knowledge makes him an invaluable asset for managing the multifaceted demands of large-scale event production.

In his role with The Meat and Metal Guild, Chad oversees stage operations for Grillfest and provides technical consulting across both audio and IT infrastructure. His background allows him to bridge the gap between artistic vision and technical execution, ensuring that events run smoothly from both creative and logistical standpoints. Whether coordinating with artists, troubleshooting technical challenges, or liaising with venue partners, Chad applies the same attention to detail that has defined both his musical and professional careers.

Chad’s deep roots in the Salt Lake City music and tech communities, combined with his extensive touring experience, give him insight into what makes music events succeed on both local and international scales. His commitment to fostering Utah’s metal scene through well-executed, professionally managed events reflects his passion for supporting the community that has supported his musical journey for over a decade and a half.
