Jacob Claypool
Treasurer
Jacob Claypool serves as Treasurer of the Meat & Metal Guild and is a concert photographer with a long-standing commitment to documenting live performance and cultural spaces. He has been active as a photographer since the age of 12, developing his craft over time through both technical progression and hands-on experience in live music environments.
Jacob specializes in event photography, with an eye for capturing the energy, atmosphere, and human scale of live events. His work reflects a deep appreciation for music, subculture, and the communal experience of performance—values that align closely with the Guild’s mission.
Beyond music, Jacob has a strong interest in history and cultural preservation. He also runs a paranormal investigation group focused on historical documentation, approaching the subject with an emphasis on research, site history, and archival integrity rather than spectacle.
Les Claypool of Primus is his cousin.
